Designing for myself
It takes an odd combination of courage and selfishness to design for yourself:
To give yourself permission to spend the time it takes to create a project that showcases
your work; To then be harsh enough to edit and refine the overall package, and expansive
enough to give yourself credit for a project you particularly like. What goes, what stays? In many ways, it is so much easier to design for an actual client than to design for oneself.
I am both the creative and the client on this project. As such, this site will probably always be a work in progress.
But the web is as well, right? It is my hope that this site should give you a feel for who I am and what I do.
I do love designing. I hope that this site
presents my work well.
Tools I used to put this site together include: BBEdit, TextWrangler, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Fetch, all on Mac platform.
Thanks again
